SEM launched by Premier Daniel Andrews
Councils, business and community leaders in Melbourne’s fast-growing south east have joined forces to ensure our region gets its fair share of investment, jobs, education, growth and prosperity opportunities with the launch of South East Melbourne (SEM).
Premier Daniel Andrews took the stage at Greater Dandenong City Council to launch SEM on September 15, and representatives from our region came together to showcase the councils and businesses at the centre of our five-year vision for growth and prosperity in the south east. This vision focuses on attracting investment, infrastructure, a skilled workforce and assisting entrepreneurial businesses to grow job opportunities for the whole south east region.
With businesses and organisations attending, the launch showcased the opportunities this region has to offer while also reminding decision-makers of the infrastructure and services needed to assist our businesses and residents to thrive now and in the future.
